The comfort in a lonely night with a bottle in my hand
Used to fix all of my problems, used to make it go away
I'd find my self dry heaving because I couldn't stand the taste
Because I couldn't stand this life, Because I couldn't stand to grow

I felt pressured by my closest friends so I had to try it out
Just to find out that my closest friends almost found themselves laying lifeless

Choking on vomit, in a bathtub all alone
A locked door on the bathroom could have taken them away
Away from my life, away from my side
The only things that held me up almost broke

I'm scared of all my friends and the things they do to cope
With the sadness that they're given, with the things they do alone
With the pains of their teenage years and the lies told to them
And the scars that are inflicted that they treated with booze

One time I had a daydream of picking up my phone to read a message that a mother found my best friend laying dead and looking blue and laying lifeless all alone with a bottle next to him
The person that I've grown up with was forced away from me and it was the end of everything we've gone through and everything we were and then I woke up and I realized, that dream was almost true
